The defence and security industry will be one of the fastest changing and most interesting in Finland in 2024, but it can be an industry still typically led by men. 

Join us on International Women’s Day, Friday 8 March, at 8:30AM for a unique Women’s Network event. Breakfast will be followed by a moderated panel which will set the scene for an interactive exchange on advancing female participation in the defence and aerospace industry as well as discussing the changes in the defence and security environment today.

Panelists for the morning include Tuija Karanko, Secretary General at Association of Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries, Sara Kajander, Director of Unit, Community and Environmental Unit at Ministry of Defence, Leena Orpo, Chief HR Officer at Patria, and Alicia Viktoria Jensen, Nordics Business Development Manager at Lockheed Martin.
