The Annual Finnish Defence Budget is 1,37% of Finland’s GDP, which is 2,88 bn Euros from which 1/3 goes to operations 1/3 to personnel and 1/3 to procurement.
The Finnish Defence Forces employ about 12 300 soldiers and civilians, and train a further 25 000 conscripts and 18 000 reservist annually.
An estimated amount 6-8 bn Euros will be allocated on fighter jets and navy ships.
Finland has no temperature limits in military training. Everything and everyone has to work< at -45 °C.
