Amcham Finland Offices, Helsinki
Finland is going through one of the biggest reforms in its history. SOTE, or Social and Health reform, will reshuffle the traditional health services and, beyond that, create new systems for purchases, public reimbursements, national digital information systems, insurances and much more.
Many items impacting national competitiveness, and simultaneously that of individual companies, are on the drawing board and yet businesses are supposed to build their strategies.
The Life Science Group event on SOTE reform aims to shed light on issues that are important from the business perspective. With plenty of unknowns on the issue, this event gives you the chance to prepare questions to air with panelists and fellow health and business experts. It takes place on June 8, from 8:30-10:00 AM at the Amcham office, Eteläranta 6.
Panelists include Päivi Sillanaukee, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, Jorge Ruiz Benecke, General Manager at Abbvie and Ville Koiste, Specialist in Capacity for Renewal at Sitra, The Finnish Innovation Fund. Lasse Männistö, Director of Healthcenters and Outsourcing Services at Mehiläinen, will moderate the discussion.
