If you like the myth of the lone, rogue entrepreneur beating the odds, we wish you the best of luck. If however you’d like to take on the world by smartly maximizing your chances of success, we’d like to propose a program called GAP!
GAP is short for the Global Access Program. It is a program run by the Anderson School of Management at the University of California (UCLA) – one of the most renowned business education establishments in the world.
If accepted, the program will take you to California next year from July to December. MBA students with long professional careers will work with you to make a thorough analysis of your markets, finance options, and competition in the United States.
Finland’s national technology funding agency Tekes will partially cover the costs of the program.
The program is open for high-potential technology companies and the application period is now on. To enter, you need to submit an application no later than October 18. For more information, follow this link.
Before and after your GAP drill, Amcham Finland will act as your international business community and alumni network. Tekes is so serious about your success that it has committed to supporting the Amcham Finland membership of all companies participating in the Global Access Program.
On November 18, all former, current, and future “Gappers” are welcome to an alumni event to celebrate, share war stories, and learn how they can best stay in the loop. To sign up or to get more information, send a note to info@amcham.fi.
To get support for your GAP strategy execution, we strongly encourage you to participate in the Amcham’s Launchpad USA program.
To join the program, contact Mike Klyszeiko and visit the program page.
The Launchpad program, just like the GAP, is built on the professional expertise and support of American nationals. Who’d better to guide you to the US market than those who call it home!
We look forward to hearing from you.
