The Board of Directors has appointed Alexandra Pasternak-Jackson as the new CEO of Amcham Finland. We warmly welcome Alexandra to her new position! She will start working September 1 part time remotely from Texas and full time in Helsinki starting January 1, 2018.
“The board is pleased for the energy and drive that Alexandra Pasternak-Jackson brings to the community. In addition, she has a long history and close understanding of Amcham’s transformation from a bi-lateral chamber of commerce into a truly international business hub,” Tuomo Haukkovaara, Chair of the Board of Amcham Finland says.
“It has been exciting to discuss the future of Amcham Finland with Pasternak-Jackson. She is fully committed to lead us into the next phase of Amcham,” Haukkovaara continues.
Alexandra is coming ‘back’ to Amcham, having spent nearly 10 years working with us in a number of positions, including managing director, program director, professional networks’ manager, as well as event and communications manager. She holds a Masters of Business Administration from Haaga Helia University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University. With Alexandra’s experience of having lived in eight countries accompanied by her multilingual skills, she is a natural part of the multicultural reach of the community.
