Anette Nilsen

Owner & Chief Strategy Officer, Kielo Digital

Anette Nilsen is a Finnish-Norwegian marketing professional based in New York with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Hospitality Management from Pace University. 

Since 2016, she has been leading digital marketing departments at NYC-based PR and experiential agencies, focusing on influencer campaigns and organic social strategy for global brands and their experiential events. Brands included Maybelline, Peroni, St. Ives, and Allergan. Prior to this, she was immersed in tourism and hospitality, where she led the social media marketing efforts at Visit Czech Republic, Explore Brooklyn, and NYC Ferry. 

In February 2020, she started Kielo Digital, a Brooklyn-based digital marketing agency executing integrated digital strategies for scaleups and startups, and has grown the team to 6 full-time marketing experts split between the US and Europe. After spending a decade in the US, Anette focuses on building 360 go-to-market strategies for Nordic brands, allowing the Kielo team to operate as the brands’ US based marketing team, executing their social media management, advertising and influencer efforts to scale in the US.
