In New York real estate, every detail has a price tag. Be it the jungle of jurisdictional, state and federal rules and regulations governing how to install electricity, to how many people are allowed in your establishment, or just finding trusted professionals to design your space.
The good news is that you don’t have to do it all on your own. We have over 60 Launchpad USA companies accessing and navigating the U.S. market, and they’re in good hands.
We sat down with from Richard Jantz from Integrity Consulting Group to learn more about how the company fulfills their promise of making their clients immediate players with an immediate impact in the market.
“Not everything you see in movies about New York real estate wheeling and dealing is true”, says Jantz, Founder and Managing Partner of ICG, “but a lot of it does happen. It’s a hot market filled with professionals, but there are also areas where a misstep can cost you dearly.
Our business is to guide our clients through the jumble of different players, offices, applications, regulations and finances.”
How would you describe what you do?
It is really just quality project management providing value for our customers. We are an independent advisor, a trusted party who can navigate you through all the details of real estate and help you avoid time-consuming and expensive pitfalls. You know your industry and want to make your product a success. What you don’t want to do is spend your time and energy filing forms and paying rent on space you can’t use for any number of reasons. You can outsource all of those headaches to us.
What kind of companies have you worked with, and where?
ICG has worked with clients all across the board. Everything from retail spaces, schools and manufacturing facilities to software and hedge fund companies with small office spaces. We operate in New York City, but have affiliates in all the major U.S. cities.
In what ways do you help the Launchpad USA companies?
I’m happy to offer advice on a conversational basis even before the company has their specific plans mapped out. New York is a sophisticated real estate market, and we can help you understand what’s available, what are the costs involved, what kind of approvals you’ll need and what kind of people you will need to have involved.
