Thursday, August 29, 8:30 – 10:00 AM
Lönnrotinkatu 5, Helsinki
U.S. immigration issues are often the most misunderstood among our members, and they’re commonly the first stumbling blocks companies face when trying to do business in America.
Which visas are best for your company’s needs?
How long does the process take?
Which organizations and agencies should I be aware of?
Ceri Koski, expert lawyer in workforce immigration solutions at Ogletree Deakins, will visit Finland in August and give you direct policy guidance for sending employees overseas. She’ll be joined by Matt Winslow, Vice Consul at the U.S. Embassy in Finland, who’s been the Non-Immigrant Visa Manager at the U.S. Embassy and serves as the primary adjudicator of U.S. business visas in Finland.
Our morning event at Fondia will feature helpful presentations and a Q&A session for your full understanding of core issues. This session is useful for legal counsel of Finnish companies, lawyers representing Finnish law firms, HR managers of Finnish companies and entrepreneurs looking to do business in the U.S.
