Update on U.S. Immigration Policies and Procedures with Alexis Wolff and Ceri Koski

Thursday, December 16 |
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Event Details
As of November 8th, the U.S. canceled the regional travel ban and replaced it with a blanket policy allowing entry to the U.S. for fully vaccinated individuals. This briefing will discuss the requirements to travel under this policy and the exceptions. Still, visa appointments and processing are still delayed at the U.S. consulate. As such, traveling to the U.S. using ESTA instead of with visa has become a hot topic and we will discuss the boundaries of what type of travel ESTA may be used for as well as expectations with visa processing at the U.S. consulate. We will also get insights as to how the U.S. Embassy’s Consular office in Helsinki is operating and what that means for processing times and procedures.
We will allow for sufficient time to take questions from the participants.
