The OECD is launching a comprehensive ‘Report on the Impact of Regulation on International Investment in Finland.’
What are the latest foreign direct investment trends in Finland? What regulatory areas should be reviewed to make Finland more attractive as an investment location? And how does Finland’s regulatory environment and investment climate compare to those of other Nordic and Baltic countries?
The report explores what aspects of Finland’s domestic regulation matter for foreign investors, and it offers suggestions for policy actions that could further improve Finland’s investment climate and contribute to attracting more foreign investors, as well as retaining existing ones.
In addition to interviews with senior executives of foreign-owned companies in Finland, additional comments were sought from Finnish authorities, business organizations, and research institutes including Amcham Finland and its member companies.
