A potential widespread digital services tax (DST) has vast implications for any company selling digital products or services throughout Europe, and how such a tax would impact Finland remains unclear. It’s critical to be aware of projected outcomes, especially considering Finland’s status as an internationally significant location for R&D and technology development.

As you know, Facebook is one of the largest digital services companies in the world, and we’re fortunate to be joined by their Head of Global Tax Policy, Alan Lee. Alan will discuss what a DST could mean for Europe and Finland, as well as answer your questions.

This morning event will be centrally located at the offices of member Waselius & Wist. The program will begin at 10:30 AM and end at 12:00 PM.

Agenda:

10:30 – Welcome by Amcham
10:35 – Alan Lee’s keynote
10:55 – Q&A and discussion
11:30 – Official session ends; Possibility for continued discussion
12:00 – Program end
