UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) presents the Global Access Program (GAP), an Anderson School of Management program designed to help Finnish companies reach markets abroad, most notably the United States. GAP sends teams of expert MBA students worldwide to work with select companies to increase their market competitiveness and secure strategic partnerships. GAP Alumni and Guest Reception, hosted in collaboration with Business Finland, is your opportunity to network with previous program graduates and learn about the opportunities that await you!
The afternoon event will feature several guest speakers:
Aki Soudunsaari, Co-founder and Strategy of Naava, and Lauri Isotalo, CFO of Framery, have both participated in GAP. They’ll share details about entering the U.S. market and discuss some challenges and successes they’ve had doing business overseas.
Fredrik Leuhusen, Ed.D., MBA, Executive Director of GAP, will give you a brief overview of the program and how you can expect to benefit from it.
Mike Klyszeiko, Director of Amcham’s Launchpad USA, and Teemu Varonen of Business Finland will open and close the reception with an explanation of Amcham Finland as an organization and Business Finland.
